What’s included in my delegate pass?

A Delegate Pass includes access to all sessions (including Day 3 site visits), refreshment breaks, networking fucntions, on-site business meeting facilities, lunches, and access to the conference platform software to view approved speaker presentations and on demand content. Please note: Sharing of speaker presentation’s is subject to approval from the guest speaker.

What is SportNXT?

SportNXT is an innovative sports thought leadership summit hosted annually in Melbourne that gathers global leaders from all sectors of the sports industry to create, share and connect. The summit is forward facing, identifying the threats and opportunities confronting the sports industry and providing a nursey for business networking, cutting edge innovation and sector shaping ideas. The two-day live conference features an unrivalled group of domestic and global leaders, both in-person and virtually, providing delegates and partners extraordinary insights from – and access to – the most credentialed voices in world sport and business. The third day of the summit is reserved for a series of site visits exploring Melbourne’s array of world-class infrastructure. Melbourne, the internationally recognised major event destination, is a natural backdrop for a global sporting summit, as the world’s only city to host both a Formula 1 Grand Prix and a Tennis Grand Slam.

The next decade will see every major sporting event cycle through the Asia-Pacific region and Australia is uniquely placed to play a major role.

Will the speakers be in person or via video?

The 2-day live conference features an unprecedented line-up of local, regional and international industry leaders live on stage, combined with the biggest global names via video link. While the majority of speakers will be in attendance, the conference will feature both in person and video link presenters, delivering a truly global conference in Melbourne.

What time will SportNXT start and end each day?

The full SportNXT 2023 agenda will be announced shortly. Day 1 and Day 2 of SportNXT 2023 will begin approx. 8:30am and conclude approx. 5:30pm. An End-Of-Day Networking event will follow the conclusion of each day at the venue. Details for the Day 3 Site Visit agenda are available on the Agenda page. Is there a group booking discount?

Yes – groups of 5+ and 10+ delegates are entitled to a special discount rate. Please refer to the delegate pass cost FAQ for full pricing information. How do I receive my delegate pass?

Following the completion of your payment, every delegate will be contacted via the details provided during ticket purchase to activate your conference platform profile and complete the registration process.

All in-person delegates passes must be physically collected to gain entry to the venue – nothing will be sent in the post.

Your Delegate Pass will be available for collection from Melbourne & Olympic Parks at the following times and locations:

  • Monday 18 March – 12.00 – 15.00 - CENTREPIECE Main Reception Desk
  • Tuesday 19 March – 07.30 – 17.30 - CENTREPIECE Level 1 Café (access via Garden Square)
  • Wednesday 20 March – 07.30 – 17.00 - CENTREPIECE Main Reception Desk
SportNXT recommends Delegate Pass collection on Monday 18 March, where possible, or early on Tuesday 19 March to avoid queues at the collection desk.

Will there be a delegate list available?

No, SportNXT does not provide delegate lists. SportNXT attracts global leaders across all sectors engaged in the business of sport. The delegate profile includes Chairpersons, C-suite and senior decision makers across sport, media, business and local, state and international government representation.

All SportNXT delegates will have access to the conference delegate platform where you will be able to connect with other attendees, receive all important event information, plan you conference schedule and watch content live or on-demand.

Can I transfer my delegate pass?

A delegate pass is entry for one person only, passes cannot be shared. A substitute delegate is welcome at any time prior to the event, provided the request is made in writing to [email protected]

What is your cancellation policy?

A substitute delegate is welcome at any time provided the request is made in writing. A full refund less a $250 (GST Inclusive) processing fee is applicable on cancellation requests made in writing within 10 days of registration. No refunds are available for cancellations made more than 10 days after registration. Where SportNXT is required to reschedule the event in the interest of the event partner’s and guests, your pass will be automatically transferred to the rescheduled dates. Should you be provided with a credit note at the discretion of the event organisers, this credit is valid for the specified amount of passes, and not the monetary value. Should SportNXT be unable to offer, deliver or fulfil any engagement within 12 months, you will be entitled to a full refund.

Who should I contact if I want a refund?

Please email all of your booking details to [email protected] to request a refund, along with the reason for requesting the refund.

Your request will be assessed by the SportNXT team in line with our Terms and Conditions.

What happens if the event is cancelled or I am unwell and I am travelling to Melbourne for the event? Will you reimburse my travel fees?

We are not able to reimburse travel or accommodation fees. Airlines and hotel groups are making concessions with their policies for deferring or changing travel plans, and we hope you can take advantage of these.

What does Day 3 consist of?

Day 3 of SportNXT is different from the 2-day live conference and is reserved for SportNXT and the Victorian Government to host curated site visits, to selected sports infrastructure in and around Melbourne.
