DEAKIN UNI & POWER’D DIGITAL JOIN SPORTNXT – SportNXT

DEAKIN UNI & POWER’D DIGITAL JOIN SPORTNXT

Web3 and blockchain innovator POWER’D Digital and leading tertiary education institution Deakin University are the latest organisations to partner with SportNXT, the global sport thought leadership summit being staged in Melbourne at the end of March.

They join Crown Resorts, Odgers Berndston, Toyota, MI Global Partners, MKTG Sports & Entertainment and the Victorian Government as event partners for 2023.

SportNXT CEO Hamish Anderson said there were a number of strategic synergies between the summit and POWER’D Digital’s offering.

“SportNXT is aiming to shape the future of sport with its world-leading line-up of speakers and ground-breaking agenda. So it’s pleasing that pioneering entities like POWER’D Digital see value in our platform as they go about changing the way fans engage with sport,” Mr Anderson said.

Sporting codes and events, such as the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix, are engaging POWER’D Digital to reimagine the fan experience and loyalty. Through its platform, fans can reap the benefits of variety, choice and a dramatically improved customer experience, while codes and event partners gain almost limitless flexibility, first-party data, and reduced operating costs.

The Deakin University partnership will see a cohort of Deakin students receive passes to attend the summit, inspiring the next generation of industry leaders.

“Access to global leaders such as Stefano Domenicali, Andrew Parsons and other top business executives including Robyn Denholm, Josephine Sukkar AM and Peggy O’Neal AO is a huge opportunity for students who seek exposure and inspiration from the very best in our industry,” said Mr Anderson.

SportNXT will take place from the 28th to the 30th of March, 2023, at the Melbourne & Olympic Park’s state-of-the-art facility CENTREPIECE. The third day will be reserved for site visits curated by SportNXT and the Victorian Government to showcase the array of world-class sports infrastructure in and around Melbourne.
